“We”, “Us” & “Our” refers to Josh Nichol/ A Horseman’s Pursuit, Ltd. “You” & “Yours” refers to you, the User.

Who do we contact?

Josh Nichol/A Horseman’s Pursuit, Ltd. only contacts individuals who have signed up to receive our free newsletters, have purchased one of our products, or specifically requested that we contact them.

What information do we collect?

1. Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

What is “PII”? Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is any data that could be used on its own or in combination with other data to identify or contact a specific individual.)

* Name (first and/or last) and email address – which is provided by you when you register to receive our free newsletters.

* Name, postal address, phone number, and credit card/payment information – which is provided by you when you fill out an order form on our website to purchase our products and services.

*Demographic information – we use this to improve your experience by using it to improve our marketing, products, and services.

There is no central or universal internet “opt out of everywhere” place that we are aware of. We understand that efforts are underway to reach a standard that would apply automatically based on browser settings.

Regardless of the state of internet privacy as a whole, you have control over what extra demographic information we collect about you. You may opt-out by following these steps:

a. Contact us directly by emailing [email protected] or by using our contact page
b. Make sure you use or enter the same email address you provided as customer or subscriber
c. In the subject line, type: “PRIVACY – Opt Out of Demographic Information”
d. Expect a confirmation email from our Support Team

2. Anonymous Usage History (non PII)

Anonymous Usage History is the information stored in the web browser “cookies” while a user is on a website. (See what a cookie is below…) It is strictly limited to the history of activities that the user engaged in while on our website(s). It does not include any Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The purpose of collecting this information is to improve your experience. So, for example, the string “customer+student ” in a cookie indicates that you are both a customer and a student. By storing the fact that you are already a student, you will not see an irrelevant “course sign up” box in your view on our website(s). Similarly, by noting that you are a student we can improve your experience by, for example, tracking the last video frames you watched while studying your courses on our website(s) so we can remind you of this the next time you visit.

A cookie is a small data text file created by a web browser, at the request of a website which then stores the temporary file on your computer’s hard drive (if you are using a browser that permits this.) These files typically store user-specific information such as selections in a web form, shopping cart contents, or authentication data. Cookies were designed to help a website recognize a user’s browser as a previous visitor to the website and thus save and remember any preferences that may have been set while the user was browsing the website. (Think of a website as a coffee shop and of a cookie as a really good barista who knows where you like to sit in the coffee shop and who has your favorite drink ready for you when you walk in!)

Be advised, that a cookie cannot be read by a website other than the one that set the cookie. (So, if you go to a new coffee shop, that newly hired barista won’t know your preferences.) Also, a cookie cannot pass on a computer virus or capture any of the PII.

A small amount of cookie history is shared with 3rd parties (i.e. Google) for the sole purpose of metrics improving results from marketing efforts. Some of these 3rd parties, in turn, use this information across many domains allowing them to identify specific interests of users in order to micro-target information tailored to the actual user. This is a new and controversial use of cookie history, but at this time benign to the privacy issues of the individual.

Be advised that your use of this site is enabled by 3rd party cookies, and as such, that information is being used to provide measurement services and target ads.

What do we do with your information?

Your information is strictly protected and used only for delivering the content and products you have signed up for or purchased, or for finding other individuals who may find our information valuable. This information is NEVER used for other purposes and is NEVER shared with 3rd parties for their own use. The only exception to this could occur if you choose to purchase one of our products via a third party link. Some of the third party partners (Affiliates) we work with, may offer their own bonus packages when you purchase our product through their promotional link. In order to fulfill the promised bonus package, we provide them with your name and email address. The sharing of this information is only for the purpose of bonus fulfillment. We will not share PII that is not necessary to fulfill the purchase you made.

NOTE: If you have purchased any of our virtual products, you will be able to access your membership account at any time to change or update your information.

You can do the following at any time by contacting us HERE or emailing [email protected]

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job, such as billing or customer service, are granted access to PII. The computers/servers in which we store PII are kept in a secure environment.
